Fit testing is mandatory for any person that is required to wear a tight fitting respirator as part of their job duties. Prior to respirator use, the program administrator for the employee, must provide documentation that candidates are free of any psychological or physiological condition that may preclude them from being assigned the use of any selected respirator.
